PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION JUBILEE OF INDONESIAN AND SERBIAN FRIENDSHIP

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Indonesia, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship NUSANTARA, in cooperation with “Galerija '73” Banovo Brdo, organized a photography exhibition “The Jubilee of Indonesian and Serbian Friendship” on Wednesday, 20 November 2019, at 6 pm. at “Galerija '73”, Belgrade.

The exhibition was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Mochammad Chandra Widya Yudha, and the cultural and artistic program included the performance of the members of the “Citra Indonesia” dance group from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, who performed traditional Indonesian dance, while diligent Indonesian hands prepared traditional specialties, which were enjoyed by many guests. Ambassadors of Turkey, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Islamic Republic of Pakistan and representatives of the Embassy of Myanmar also attended the opening of the exhibition.

Over the past four and a half years, the Association of Serbian-Indonesian Friendship NUSANTARA organized more than 40 trips to different cities, ethno villages, mountains, waterfalls, springs, religious sites of Serbia for the representatives of our two countries. The photography exhibition “The Jubilee of Indonesian and Serbian Friendship” presents 65 photographs made during these trips. A total of 26 members and friends of the Association took part in the photo contest organized by the Association and submitted a total of 357 photographs. The professional jury including photographers Mario Bralić, Milan Predojević, El Gvojos and ULUPUDS members selected 65 photographs, which were exhibited at “Galerija '73” that evening.
