LOZNICA – Indonesian Ambassador to Serbia Muhamed Abduh Dalimunthe has visited Vuk’s homeland and attended the opening of painting exhibition at the musical-visual presentation of his country in the framework of the „Indonesia Days in Loznica“ program.
At the „Mina Karađić“ gallery has been opened the joint exhibition of the academic painters Dragana Mladenović, Tanja Đokić and Tamara Šenekar who, former scolars of the Indonesian Government who had spent a one-year training in that far-away country and in their works have brought the colors of this distant culture. Dalhimunte said that the two countries have good relations and that Indonesia is offering to Serbia the possibility of one-year scholarship for the program in learning dance and the Indonesian language.
Such a scholarship has been made available for already five years now and in which more than 20 students from Serbia have joined the program successfully.
The Indonesian Ambassador has met the city officials and evaluated that beside in the culture, this could be seen as the beginning of cooperation with Loznica in other fields as well.
The Indonesia Days in Loznica was organized on the initative of the Serbian-Indonesian Association of Friendship „Nusantara“ and the Culture Centre „Vuk Karađić“.
